The Hiking Hound serves all of Bergen County New Jersey.

The Hiking Hound is not your average local dog walker. We offer hikes as well as long interactive walks for your dog. We strive for the pet owners to be able to come home after a long days work and feel confident and comfortable that their dogs were exercised and treated well during their time with The Hiking Hound.

If you do not prefer a hike I will take your dog on a walk throughout your area, ranging from a 30 minute walk all the way up to a 4 hour hike. I also do in-home dog sitting and will take your dog to the vet on days where the appointments may be available but you are not.

The Hiking Hound is here to take the stress out of owning a dog that needs the exercise but due to longer work hours unable to get it. The Hiking Hound is a year round service with no contracts to sign. No matter what the weather I will be there for your dog. I am certified in pet CPR and pet First Aid. I am also a certified EMT. I am fully insured and have years of experience on the trails and with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds.

I am affiliated with B.A.R.K. a local dog rescue group. I donate my time to help them with their dogs who havent been adopted yet but still need the interaction and exercise all dogs need and deserve.
