Cherie Allen of Run A Mutt has been in the Dog Walking business and Dog Boarding business for over 8 years. Her passion and love of animals, especially dogs, led her to the work she loves. She has completed dog training and behavioral programs such as The Marine Behavioral Academy and world renown, DogTech.

Run A Mutt offers competitive rates for all your Dog Walking and Dog Care needs.

Dog Walking services run Monday through Friday in San Francisco. (please see notes for Oakland clients at the end of this ad)
Boarding services are available year round.

Dogs are never given “concrete jungle” walks. They are taken with their packs to Dog friendly beaches and on dog friendly hiking areas in and surrounding S.F. Dog Walks run up to 3 hours+. This includes pick up routes, walks/hikes, treat & water breaks and drop off route.

Each Dog is given a weekly walk log for communication from owner and Cherie. This helps keep billing workbooks in check as well as clear and open daily communication.

When choosing boarding services, you can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your loved pet is in a warm and friendly environment. Crates are never used unless behavior requires. No kennels, no cold metal cages and no concrete. Boarding includes daily walks and evening bathroom walks, fresh water available all day and wholesome, nutritious food. (We love HALO brand Dog Food) Though we do recommend owners sending food along with their dog as a consistent food regimen is important to a dogs health and happiness.

Remember when choosing your Dog Walker, it should never be about the money. For Run A Mutt, it is not about us gaining the money of another client. It is about the health and well being of your dog and gaining and keeping the trust of you, the client.

Potential clients can call and schedule an introduction appointment at anytime. Appointments are usually made for evening hours or weekend mornings.

*Potential Oakland clients: Dog Walking services are still available to you! Oakland dogs are picked up in the morning and taken with the packs to San Francisco, then dropped off in the late afternoon. San Francisco offers so much more to our canine friends and every day will be like a mini doggy vacation!
