Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Dog Park

Dog Park in Richmond, CaliforniaIf you’re thinking about taking your furry friend to the dog park, the Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Dog Park in Richmond, California boasts the largest public off-leash dog park in the country. At 23-acres, this bay side park allows you to let your pal run free on a trail by the water. The only rules are that you must carry a leash (less than 6 feet in length) at all times, leash your dog in the parking lot and on the road, and keep your dog within close enough distance that they can hear and obey voice commands.

If your dog isn’t used to the company of other dogs, be advised that a leash will be required if he displays aggressive behavior towards dogs or people. Digging and chasing birds are not allowed, but running around in a friendly matter is always encouraged at the dog park!

Once your pup roams around, he’ll be a little (or very!) dirty. Never fear; Point Isabel Dog Park features Mudpuppy’s Tub & Scrub, a dog-related retail store and dog wash. You can even get your dog a flea dip or nail cut! After your pooch gets all gussied up, take him over to the adjacent Sit & Stay Cafe where you can both enjoy treats.

The Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Dog Park is located right off of I-580 and I-80 in Richmond, California. A short drive from Berkley and San Francisco, the park is a great location to enjoy a sunny day with your loyal friend.
